Going Green At Goemans

We’re a family run company here at Goemans, and we care about our customers like they’re our own family. Which is why we’re so excited to announce that we have joined the Government of Canada on their quest to reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions across our beautiful country. We want the future of our family and our customers families to be bright and green!
The newly issued Low Carbon Economy Fund (LCEF) is an important part of the Pan-Canadian Framework on Clean Growth and Climate Change. The LCEF has created a program to benefit Ontario residents who will be purchasing new appliances in the coming year. The program now

allows retailers to offer rebates for purchases of approved energy efficient products.

The goal for the rebate is to help Ontario residents reduce energy usage in the home, while saving money and help with climate change. It’s a straightforward win-win for everyone involved and we are so excited to be part of it!

• - The appliance categories for the rebate include: washers, dryers, dishwashers, induction cooktops, CEE Tier 3 Certified refrigerators and refrigerator-freezers.
• - The rebate is currently available in-store only and offers 25% off (up to $500) on applicable appliances. Soon - they will be marked throughout our stores so they are easy to identify.
• - The rebate will be applied directly at time of purchase and is added on top of any other promotion or sale that currently applies to the product.
• - The new LCEF program only applies to appliances purchased now that the LCEF program has launched.
