Fall is such a lovely season – the weather is still a bit warm, but the wind is nice and crisp. We always get excited with the change from Summer to Fall because for us, it means it’s time to get the house ready for another season. Decorating your home for a new season doesn’t have to cost a lot either. You can turn many beautiful décor items into fun DIY projects, and even get the kids to join in. Check out some of our favourite Fall Décor trends below and get ready to get creative!
TREND #1: Fall Lanterns are a great way to add some pizzaz to your fall porch, without having to do too much. If you have already or can find some rustic lanterns with glass sides all you have to do is find some mini pumpkins, pinecones and even some wheat stems and pile them inside. TREND #2: Another trend we’re loving this fall is layering doormats. It sounds strange but the end result of this quick change is super cute and can add style to an otherwise plain porch. If you’ve already got a welcome mat you’re halfway there, just throw a checkered mat underneath and call it a day. 
TREND #3: White pumpkins are a big trend we’re seeing this Fall as well. Mixed in with the classic orange, grouped with various squash, or on its own for a trendy look – white pumpkins are all the rage. We’ve seen tons of them at Lowes, Home Depot and even local farms.
